This policy covers all Julrik apps. All of them are built around a simple principle: your data is yours and stays on your device. The one exception is the support mailbox, which you write to yourself — it has its own section below.
Julrik apps do not collect, store or transmit any personal data. Your recordings, transcripts, conversations and notes stay on your device, under your sole control.
Transcription, speaker separation, note generation and exchanges with a language model all run entirely locally, on your Mac. None of this data is sent to a Julrik server or to a third party.
The artificial intelligence models used by the apps are downloaded onto your device, usually on first launch or when you choose a model. That download is the only operation requiring a connection: it brings the model to your Mac, and your data is never sent outside your Mac.
Purchases and in-app purchases are handled by Apple through the Mac App Store, under Apple’s privacy policy. Julrik neither receives nor keeps your payment information.
Writing to support@julrik.com is the only moment when information about you reaches us: your email address, the name attached to it, and whatever you choose to describe. That mailbox is hosted by Gmail, so your messages sit on Google’s servers — as they sit on your own provider’s — and are subject to Google’s privacy policy there. We keep exchanges for 30 days, then delete them. They serve no other purpose: no mailing list, no analysis, no sharing with a third party. This is also why the support page asks you not to attach confidential recordings or transcripts — an anonymized excerpt is almost always enough.
Julrik apps include no third-party analytics and do not track your usage. If you agree to share diagnostics with Apple at the system level, those reports are handled by Apple, not by Julrik.
Because everything lives on your device, you can review, export or delete your data at any time. Some apps also offer automatic deletion after a period you configure. A support exchange is deleted on request, without waiting out the 30 days.
Julrik apps are professional tools intended for adults. They are not directed at children and do not knowingly collect their data.
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the apps. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
